Wild nature…lucky us! Boiled red wine with cinnamon and gingerbread – hmmm, sweet combination; smell of fir and fluffy snow… A real delight for those who want a winter holiday in Transylvania, on #DraculaTour.
We announce in this way as the last Dracula tour week of 2019 starts with December 16th until December 21st. And if you didn’t know, the Sibiu 2019 Christmas Fair (where it will be the main location for those who book a mini-vacation with us), is known throughout Europe for the size and atmosphere created.
Christmas tree from the Large Square, Santa’s workshops, horse-drawn carriage rides through the Village Museum, 100 wooden houses with traditional goodies, carols, tourist train that will walk you through the medieval center of Sibiu, dreamy atmosphere… and the list can go on!
Let’s not forget the traditional food recognized and very sought after by tourists who delighted us with their presence and other occasions, to remember that in 2019 Sibiu was the European Gastronomic Region. So come prepared for tastes that you will not meet too often in other corners of the world; but about the Romanian food we will talk more in another blog article, and “delicious” pictures you will find on our facebook page Dracula Story Tours.
So…try “a different holiday” – in jeans, backpack and camera at you, get ready to meet on Prince of Wallachia Vlad Tepes, the creator of the bloody kingdom of vampires. Create a winter holiday in Romanian style, combine history with the story of Dracula, be a vampire from Transylvania for 5 days and tell everyone that somewhere in the heart of Europe, in the virgin forests of the Carpathian mountains, among the black goats, wolves, bats and brown bears, after so many years of history, #Vladtheimpaler is still present.
